I have been fascinated with pictures for as long as I can remember.
It was one of the main reasons I started my company E-PIC Imaginations - the "PIC" representing pictures.
My earliest memories of appreciating pictures are from when I was about 5 or 6 years old and would spend hours on end in my Grandparents' attic, looking through hundreds of copies of National Geographic and Paris Match. I loved how people were able to tell a story with a picture, and how you could understand a story even though the texts were (then) in a foreign tongue. National Graphic was in English and Paris Match was in French, yet I was able to relate, understand and embrace all of it.
I started taking my first pictures with a lilac "Le Clic" camera I got for my 12th Birthday. It was film and it was awesome! Many cameras later I was introduced to NIKON and have been a NIKON fanatic ever since. I got my first NIKON D7 for my 25th birthday and while I have used many other versions, she remains my favourite.
Here is a are a small selection of over 50,000 shots. I hope many years down the line, I will be able to show you my "Best Of" out of the millions, as I intend to shoot and capture the beauty that is life until my last breath.
THE HONOUR OF BEING PUBLISHED
I had the great honour of having my work published in the very prestigious NIKON OWNERS CLUB Magazine a few years back.
A dear friend of mine gave me the opportunity to do this and put together a selection of my favourites. These were shots from 2009 when I stayed up all night to shoot the snow when I got stuck in a snowstorm at work. I stopped shooting when I was unable to use my fingers and my lens was unable to move anymore either. It was a lovely experience and reaffirmed to me why NIKON is my friend for life.
